Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data the mobile game Brick Bust: Block Puzzle ("the Game", "we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. The Game is published by No Damage Games (Utku Şahin, entrepreneur individuel, SIREN 101 008 001, France), the controller of the personal data described here.
The Game has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or precise location.
Data we collect
Your progress (jobs won, coins, machine levels, the town you rebuilt), your settings and a short play log stay on your device. The data below is collected by the third-party services the Game uses for analytics, crash reports, advertising and purchases. We do not sell your personal data.
| Category | Examples | Why | Collected by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Usage and gameplay events | Jobs started and won, features used, offers seen, session length | Understand how the Game is played and improve it | Google Firebase Analytics |
| Diagnostics and crash data | Crash logs, error details, device model, OS version, performance | Find and fix crashes and bugs | Google Firebase Crashlytics |
| Advertising identifiers | Apple IDFA (only if you allow tracking), Google Advertising ID, IP address, ad interactions | Show ads and measure them | Google AdMob |
| Approximate location | Country or region worked out from your IP address | Ad delivery and analytics (never precise GPS) | Google Firebase, Google AdMob |
| Purchase records | Which in-app purchases you made (Remove Ads, the starter pack, coin packs), the store's transaction ID | Deliver and restore purchases, count sales | Apple, Google; Firebase Analytics |
| Remote configuration | App version, device and OS, country worked out from your IP address | Fetch balance and feature settings without an update | Google Firebase Remote Config |
Payment card details are handled entirely by Apple and Google. We never see or store them.
Analytics and your region
Gameplay analytics (Firebase Analytics) helps us understand how the Game is played. How it is handled depends on where you are:
- European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom and Switzerland: collected only if you consent in the consent form the Game shows. If you decline, it stays off. You can change your choice at any time under "Privacy choices" in the Game's settings.
- United States: collected by default; where your state's privacy law applies you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data under "Privacy choices" in the Game's settings, or with the device controls under "Advertising and tracking".
- Other regions: collected by default.
Crash diagnostics
Crash and diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics) keeps the Game stable and secure. Because a crash can happen at any moment, even before any choice is shown, this data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in a reliable and safe Game, independently of your advertising choices. It contains no advertising identifier and is never used to target ads. You can object to it or ask for its deletion using the contact above.
Advertising and tracking
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob: videos you choose to watch for a reward, and ads between jobs unless you bought Remove Ads. Ad partners may use your device's advertising identifier only as your consent and device settings allow.
- iPhone: before the first video ad, the Game explains what tracking means and iOS asks whether you allow it (App Tracking Transparency). If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your advertising identifier is not used to track you. Change it any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in Settings → Google → Ads.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) lets you set your advertising choices when you start the Game, and again under "Privacy choices" in the settings.
Refusing never blocks the Game: you then see non-personalised ads.
Notifications
If you say yes, the Game sets one reminder on your device for the next day's pay. It is scheduled on the device itself; no data leaves it for this. You can turn it off in your phone's notification settings.
Third-party services
These providers process data as described above. Their own privacy policies apply:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config): firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob and Google's consent form: policies.google.com/privacy · how Google uses information from apps that use its services
- Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, tracking prompt): apple.com/legal/privacy
- Google Play (store, in-app purchases): policies.google.com/privacy
Children
Brick Bust is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Data retention
Your progress and settings stay on your device until you delete them or the Game. Analytics, crash and advertising data are kept by the providers above according to their own retention policies.
Data deletion
Brick Bust has no accounts, so the data it touches is tied to your device, not to a personal profile.
- On your device: Settings → Delete my data in the Game erases the Game's data on that phone; uninstalling the Game removes everything it stored.
- Advertising data: reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time (iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- Data held by our providers: email contact@nodamagegames.com with the subject "Data deletion — Brick Bust" and your device's advertising ID. We will ask the relevant providers (Google Firebase, Google AdMob) to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA and UK under the GDPR, California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to some processing. Contact us at the email above. In the EEA you can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Changes show in the effective date at the top of this page.
